The Old Ship Inn is recognised as one of the oldest Pubs in Perth and dates back to 1665. It is situated just off the High Street, in Skinnergate, a narrow street which in olden times was one of the entrances to the old city through the city wall.
Part of the pub was knocked down and re-constructed in 1935. The old bar still remains but is now used as the cellar.
The pub is very popular with the locals and visitors and is now well know as one of the friendliest establishments in Perth.
Excellent conditioned cask ales are among the favourites sold in the pub along with the usual beers, wines, spirits and of course malt whiskies.
Bar food is served Thursday to Saturday all freshly prepared.
It is situated very close to the Concert Hall which is ideal for a pre concert drink or why not beat the 'break' queues and nip up for a drink.
